Isle of Wight Studio School has been nominated for the prestigious ‘Amazing Educational Establishment Award’ by the Education Business Partnership (EBP) South.
EBP are a social enterprise that work in partnership with schools and businesses to help develop the skills of young people through business experiences, mentoring, enterprise challenges, skills development initiatives and work experience.
The school was recognised due to their unique model of building key employability skills and their quality work experience offer.
Richard White, Headteacher, has said:
“I’m delighted that the School has been nominated for this award alongside only a handful of other schools across the south. The recognition of the way we work to develop key employability skills in our Island youngsters by such an esteemed company is truly heart-warming and shows the model is exactly what employers are looking for in education”.
