Wightlink are operating an hourly timetable on their Ryde Pier Head to Portsmouth Harbour catamaran service from tomorrow (Monday) until almost the end of March.
Just 1 Wight Ryder will be in operation between 26th February – 13th March and again 16th March – 26th March whilst the second is out of action for refit.
The cross-Solent operator has taken the decision not to bring in a relief boat this year as they have analysed passenger numbers and found there is enough capacity on just 1 catamaran to carry everyone who wants to travel throughout the day.
Regular commuters will be given priority in boarding the service during refit times.
The revised timetable is as follows:
