Hampshire Law Society have this week announced the election of its new presidential team, with Joe Robertson succeeding Kristina Colmer as President of the Society.
Joe, who lives on the Isle of Wight, originally trained and worked in London dealing with media and defamation claims including those associated with the collapse of the News of the World. He eventually specialised in family law and moved to Jasper Vincent in Southampton.
Joe took a 6 month break from law in 2015 and worked as a political campaign manager in Havant securing the election of a new MP. He now works for Dementia UK, the charity behind Admiral Nurses.
Previously, Joe has held roles as a school governor and trustee of Citizens’ Advice. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and became a father last month. He is a local Parish Councillor for St Helens.
His aims for the year ahead are to engage more with students at local Universities and to ensure the Society continues to remain relevant and influential in a changing legal and social landscape.
Joe will be supported by James Gleisner from Trethowans as Vice President and Mo Aldridge from Jasper Vincent as Deputy Vice President.
