A new restaurant and bar named ‘Gastronomy Cowes’ will open its doors at 46-47 High Street next Saturday (17th February).
Gastronomy will offer up exciting dishes with global influences, providing Islanders and tourists alike with good food, good drinks and good times.
The new venture will allow guests to personalise their dining experience. Customers can choose from a taco menu and a selection of small plates to create a sociable, tapas-style feast. Alternatively, traditionalists can stick to the notion of the 3-course meal, ordering mains from Gastronomy Cowes’ carefully curated list of large plates – from American style burgers and ribs, to Thai spiced whole seabass.
Their extensive bar and top notch mixologists can cater for any thirsty customer. With a cocktail list that changes regularly, customers at Gastronomy Cowes will be continually wowed by the wondrous concoctions placed before them. Pouring pints of ice cold and super cool Punk IPA – BrewDog’s famous craft beer – the restaurant’s team brings a fresh vision to the Isle of Wight hospitality scene.
Head Chef and Director, Charles Ford explains:
“We want people to enjoy every element of their experience with us. Food is an art form, and we will be serving our customers dishes that reflect precisely that, but not in the traditional ‘fine dining’ manner – we want our guests to come hungry and leave full!
“Our team has lived all over the world – from Italy to South Africa – and we’ll be bringing you dishes that demonstrate our global experience. We are proud to join the line-up of great restaurants in Cowes and look forward to welcoming you all very soon.”
Gastronomy Cowes will be open all day from 11:00, Tuesday through to Sunday. Booking is strongly advised by emailing [email protected].
