Eklectica, which is to be held at Robin Hill County Park from the 7th-9th September, is inviting all local bands and musicians to put their talent to the test to win the opportunity of a lifetime – performing to thousands on the Main Stage.
The talented winner(s) will warm up the Saturday crowd before the day’s headline act, The Hoosiers, hit the main stage, providing an amazing opportunity to have their music heard on a massive scale.
A live final will be held at Robin Hill on 26th April, where the shortlisted artists will get to play up to 3 songs for a panel of judges. The panel will be made up of music industry experts including special guests, the alt-rock band, Toploader.
With the Isle of Wight home to so many talented musicians, the standard of entries is expected to be high. With this in mind, up to 3 bands who narrowly miss out on being shortlisted for the final, will be put to the vote on social media, with the winner winning a wildcard pass to the live final.
To be eligible to enter, at least 1 member of the band/musician must live/be based on the Isle of Wight, and all band members must be aged 14 or over. Parental consent is required for under 18s.
Along with the chance to perform, winners will receive weekend passes for themselves along with 4 weekend camping tickets per band member, so friends and family get to see their moment in the spotlight.
If you think you have what it takes to get the crowds rocking, then visit www.eklectica.live/freshtalent and complete the application form – but hurry, applications must be received by 8th April 2018.
