The Isle of Wight branch of CAMRA – The Campaign for Real Ale – have announced Island Brewery’s Earl’s RDA as the winner of this year’s ‘Beer of the Year’ competition.

It’s the fifth year in a row that the local brew has won this coveted award.

Claire Bennett of Island Brewery says:

“We are so very grateful to our amazing team at the Brewery – Chris Coleman, his son Ashley and Tom Leman – who work tirelessly in producing all of our brews. Their hard work, dedication and attention to detail maintains the incredibly high standard that customers require, enabling us to achieve these accreditations.

“This particular beer is a beverage that keeps on giving as for every pint sold we donate 10p to Mountbatten Hospice”.

 The brewery’s Yachtman’s Ale took third place in the competition.
