Following the huge success of ‘Good Night, Little Bear’, Ventnor Exchange’s 2015 Christmas production, the company’s new winter show ‘The Boy Who Didn’t Like Sweets’ opens this Saturday and promises once again to be a magic treat for the whole family.
The production follows the extraordinary story of the quarrelsome Button twins who are left in charge of a sweetshop with a list of chores and one clear instruction – they must not eat any sweets until Grandad Button returns. But this sweetshop seems to have a mind of its own, and not everything is as it seems. From mice that talk to lollipops that make you invisible… What could possible go wrong?
Featuring the Ventnor Exchange’s trademark visual style, with puppetry, charm, mayhem and a whole lot of sweets, it sure to be a very special event.
The Boy Who Didn’t Like Sweets opens on Saturday 17th December with performances at 14:00 and 17:00 daily until the 24th December (excluding Sunday/Monday). Tickets are available from www.ventnorexchange.co.uk or 01983 716767.
