The Isle of Wight Council are advising local residents to be wary of a mystery door knocker visiting homes in Havenstreet.
It has been reported to the authority that an unknown young man has been visiting households in the village potentially to try and sell items. When he is told to go away he is said to become aggressive.
Local residents are being advised to be wary of the matter.
