The Country Land and Business Assosication (CLA), which represents landowners, farmers and rural businesses, has appointed Claire Bennett as its new Senior Adviser on the Isle of Wight.
Claire, who lives outside Yarmouth, was previously a business development manager for the Island Brewing company and has also managed large dressage yards and events centres.
As senior adviser, Claire will be responsible for advising Isle of Wight members on a range of issues relating to land use and ownership. She will also play a key role in representing CLA members’ interests at meetings with rural and business organisations across the Island.
Commenting on her appointment, Claire said:
“As a resident on this beautiful Island, I am delighted to join an organisation which helps those landowners and farmers who are involved in managing and enhancing our countryside and supports our rural economy. I am looking forward to an exciting future.”
