Islanders have the chance to get their Christmas shopping off to a great start whilst also raising funds for patients and their families this weekend (Sunday) at the Earl Mountbatten’s Christmas Fayre.
The Christmas Fayre, which is being held in the John Cheverton Centre between 10:00-16:00 on Sunday 27th November, will feature a mix of festive stalls, including local and handmade gifts, stocking fillers, party clothes and fancy dress for all ages, KissyPuppy tombola and raffle. There will also be live music and entertainment and a delicious 2-course Sunday lunch for just £5.95 for adults and £4.95 for children (booking advised).
Visitors will also be able to tour the Chelsea Garden with the Hospice’s very own expert volunteer gardener. Entry and parking are free, although donations are very welcome.
Nigel Hartley, Chief Executive, says:
“Every year, we need to raise around £5m of the £7m it costs to provide services across the Isle of Wight. With the community’s incredible support, we are able to care for 600 Islanders every day in their own homes, as well as services from our 16-bed inpatient unit and John Cheverton Centre. Please do come and support this event, which is sure to get you in the festive mood!”
