Plenty of Christmas cheer will be on the menu when Earl Mountbatten Hospice welcomes visitors for some delicious festive food at the Sunflower Café this week.
The venue is open to everyone for a traditional Christmas lunch all this week (except Saturday) between 12:00 and 14:00, serving turkey and all the trimmings for just £3.95 per person.
On Christmas Day, the John Cheverton Centre opens its doors at 11:30 for a sumptuous 3-course Christmas lunch from 12:30. For just £19.95, this will include a starter of homemade tomato soup or pate, followed by roast Turkey and all the trimmings (vegetarian option available) and finishing with a Christmas pudding with brandy cream or Strawberry Eton Mess. Visitors are able to either bring their own accompanying drinks, or offer a donation for a glass of wine with their lunch. Booking is required via the John Cheverton Centre by phoning 01983 529511.
