The British Heart Foundation charity shop in Ryde is set to move to bigger premises.
Plans are afoot to transform the former Clintons store into a much larger outlet for the nationwide charity. BHF is currently located a few doors up on the opposite side of Ryde High Street.
Planning permission is being sought to remove the entrance steps and form a new ramped access. In addition, the charity would like to create a new recessed lobby including double entrance doors and adapt the shopfront.
Permission for new advertisement signage is also being applied for.
Clintons closed its doors back in June last year after more than 15 years in the town.
The new charity store will employ 2 full time and 3 part time staff members and will be open from 09:30-17:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:00-16:00 on Sundays.
