A family from the village of Whitwell are appealing for any information following a theft that took place outside their home during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
3 STIHL chainsaws – model numbers MS261, MS361 and MS192 – were stolen from the back of a Land Rover that was parked outside the family home at sometime between the hours of 01:00 and 03:00. 2 metal jerry cans were also taken, alongside chainsaw oil.
The Land Rover was locked at the time of the incident.
The family are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who hears of any chainsaws matching the model number for sale, to contact Police on 101.
