Fire crews from Bembridge and Ryde are in attendance at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park in Bembridge tonight (Friday), where 1 person is being treated for smoke inhalation.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to a car fire on site at 21:50, prompting the turn out of 2 appliances.
A luxury Audi is at the centre of the alert, however the small fire has been extinguished by the vehicle’s owner who has received a small burn to his hand. He has been treated for smoke inhalation with oxygen.
Crews are preparing to leave the scene.
