Teachers and parents at Nine Acres Primary School in Newport have been left distraught after finding that school property has been the target of vandalism.
A shed which holds toys and learning equipment has been left covered in shattered glass as a result of the windows being smashed.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time that the school has been subject to mindless vandalism.
Parents of the school have started a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to replace the damaged property.
Jodie McNamara, who has set up the fundraising page, has said:
“Any donation would be gratefully received. These children do not deserve to start the new school year with this terrible action of vandals.
“Thank you for all your support and please spread the word”.

Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that the attempted burglary occurred sometime between 14th and 17th December. Nothing was taken.
