The Isle of Wight Festival’s John Giddings has said that the first act announcement for this year’s event should be made by the end of January.
Fans have been left wondering what performances they can expect at this year’s festival as, with just 160 days to go until the annual event returns to Seaclose Park, there has been no news on what acts will be taking to the stage.
In years gone by the headliners have been revealed at the end of November or the start of December.
John Giddings has taken to Facebook to say:
“Happy new year everyone
“We are aiming to announce by the end of January – cheers !!”
Early bird tickets have already sold out for 2019, despite the lack of a confirmed line up.
Isle of Wight Festival returns to Newport between Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th June 2019.
