This year’s annual Mountbatten Charity Table Tennis Tournament has raised £1,715 for the hospice.
A cheque was presented to Charlotte Hornblow, the Community Fundraising Leader, by Tim Giles, IWTTA vice chairman, and Martin Dove, IWTTA Treasurer and Centre Manager.
Charlotte said:
“This donation from IW Table Tennis is much appreciated. It will greatly assist with our care of patients and their families here at the Hospice”.
Tim commented:
“Our Association is delighted once again with the success of this annual charity tournament for the hospice (now in its 4th year). The response was excellent and enjoyed by the 48 players (most having travelled from the mainland) who came to play, and also those who came to support.
“We would like to thank the sponsors who made this possible – Wight Fire and Security, Woodcliffe Holiday Apartments, The Stable Tearoom and Mike Turner Leisure Ltd”.
