BIKES STOLEN DURING BRIGHSTONE BURGLARIES

The battle against bicycle thefts on the Isle of Wight continues this week as Police investigate 2 burglaries in which high-end bikes were stolen from garages in Brighstone.

Some time between 17:00 on Wednesday 9th January and 09:00 on Tuesday 14th January, 4 expensive, top spec bikes were stolen from a detached garage in Moor Lane.

The stolen items are described as an orange ST4 men’s mountain bike; a black Giant advance TCR men’s road bike; a black & white Lapierre Sensium 200 bike and a green & black Scot Scales 920 lady’s mountain bike.

3 of the bikes are photographed (left).

Similarly, between 22:00 on Wednesday 9th January and 14:00 on Friday 11th January, a Specialized S-Works Enduro mountain bike was stolen from an address on Main Road in Brighstone. The bike is photographed above.
