The Isle of Wight Steam Railway has suspended its train service during the month of March as it puts the safety and wellbeing of volunteers, staff and visitors first.
Trains will not be operating on 22nd, 26th and 29th March as planned.
The heritage railway is reviewing the situation for April and urges visitors to keep an eye on the website for further information.
For customers who have booked to travel during March your tickets can be used on any other day (except the Summer Steam Show or Santa Specials). Alternatively, refunds can be obtained by calling 01983 882204.
Steve Backhouse, General Manager at IWSR, says:
“This is going to be a challenging time for all heritage railways as we rely on our passengers to keep us running. Your understanding, patience and cooperation is appreciated and we thank you all in advance for your ongoing support.
“We look forward to seeing you all again soon”.
