Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely has criticized what he has termed the ‘questionable’ science behind the national COVID-19 lockdowns.
Speaking on the Dan Wootton show on GB News last night (Tuesday), Bob also claimed that the Omicron variant may be a ‘blessing in disguise’ as it could bring about community immunity.
The MP claimed that the £380billion spent on measures to combat COVID was a ‘national scandal’ and that this money could have been better spent elsewhere.
Bob Seely said:
“There’s something called the most dangerous course of action and the most likely course of action. You have a very risk-averse establishment. The most dangerous course of action has become – in the decision-makers minds – the most likely course of action. Even now, when Omicron was very likely not that serious, it could be a blessing in disguise, because it could help to give us community immunity.
“You can’t just lock people down on a whim anymore. We’ve got to stop doing it.
“The interesting thing is that as soon as this information has become verifiable, it shot away the forecasters and the modelers, who came out with this ridiculous worst-case scenario of 6,000 deaths a day.
“Ferguson [forecast] 100,000 cases after the football when in fact it peaked at about 39,000. So, whenever this modelling has become verifiable, it has simply fallen to pieces.

So much of what’s happened since with the lockdown are very inhuman conditions that many of us struggled with that were built on some really questionable science.”
Yet again the ignorant MP speaks through his fundamental orifice.

Perhaps if he were to witness first hand what it’s like to see people laying face down on a ventilator fighting for their life only to perish he would have a much different outlook.

Sounds like after-timing to me. At the end of the day, it’s his government who are responsible for deciding which forecasters to row in with.
Mad that spending money on the population to defend the public at large and those who are at risk can be considered a national scandal. If that’s the case he should claw back all the money he deems wasted from his constituents. He talks about inhuman conditions yet while his party has been at the helm poverty has risen, food banks gone up ect and has dodged HOW MANY SCANDELS SINCE NOVEMBER(and that was when the frequency of these scandals began an up-tik)?!
Blinkered people should be aware that GB News is one of the very few media platforms where anyone who has not been brainwashed into ‘group think’ has a chance to air their views without being de-platformed, ridiculed and banned from other media and this which includes the British Brainwashing Corporation. From the very start of this Covid fraud, nothing has made ‘common’ sense, the latest example being the mass jabbing panic for Omicron, as though it were the Black Death.
Thank goodness few of us pay any heed to anything that comes out of the partying party! Fortunately, now there are marginally better data sets available to the public for us to make our own decisions regarding risks. An entire party that doesn’t understand statistics??? It beggars belief!
