Police raided 2 homes at Amherst Place in Ryde this morning (Friday) as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs.
7 Police units – including an armed response vehicle and a dog unit – arrived on the estate off Marlborough Road at around 09:00.
Specialist officers executed pre-planned warrants at 2 addresses in the cul-de-sac. The warrants related to an investigation into the supply of drugs.
Enquiries are ongoing at this time, according to Hampshire Constabulary.
On Wednesday, Police executed drugs warrants on a number of addresses on North Road in Shanklin – as previously reported by Island Echo.
Anyone with information relating to drug related harm or possible linked activity should contact the Ryde Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
