Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating the discovery of a man’s body at Nelson Drive in Cowes this morning (Saturday).
As first reported by Island Echo, emergency services arrived on the scene at the crack of dawn before cordoning off a section of the residential road. Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that they were called at 06:22, with the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service drafted in to assist at 06:45.
The currently unidentified man’s death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious at this time.
A cordon remains in place as investigations continue.
