Rock band Feeder have confirmed they will no longer be appearing at the Isle of Wight Festival tonight (Saturday) due to a close family bereavement.
The group had been due to take to the Big Top stage at 21:25, ahead of a closing performance by the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the band said:
“We are sad to announce that Feeder won’t be playing at the Isle of Wight Festival today, due to a close family bereavement.
“We are so sorry and hope to be back again next year.”
Feeder, best known for hits including Buck Rogers and Just A Day, had been among the acts scheduled to perform on the third day of this year’s festival at Seaclose Park.
Saturday’s main stage line-up is headlined by Calvin Harris, with Teddy Swims and Rita Ora also set to perform.
Festival organisers have not yet confirmed whether a replacement act will fill Feeder’s slot.
