Emergency services, including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, are attending an incident in the heart of Godshill this afternoon (Tuesday).
The main road through the village has been closed in both directions whilst Police, fire and ambulance crews deal with the incident.
Southern Vectis’ Route 2 and 3 buses are being affected by the closure.
UPDATE @ 17:45 – A man has sustained serious burns to his hands after coming into contact with an electricity cable in his back garden.
