CHRIST THE KING PUPILS TOLD TO WEAR MASKS AS CORONAVIRUS RATES INCREASE

Pupils at an Isle of Wight school have been asked to resume the wearing of face masks as the number of coronavirus cases reported within the school community increase.

Parents of pupils at Christ The King College in Carisbrooke have received letters requesting action on what it calls ‘increasing numbers of COVID cases’ at the college.

The new measures at the school are expected to be in place for 2 weeks, with mask-wearing mandatory for those without an exception throughout the school day.

It follows a reminder of the coronavirus guidelines issued by the school in a newsletter on the 21st September in which Headteacher, Kevin McDermott, told parents that Public Health England had advised of confirmed cases within the school setting.

In the letter, Kevin McDermott said:

“We have been advised by Public Health England that there have been confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the school setting.

“We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closesly with Public Health England. This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child.”

It’s not currently thought that any other schools are enforcing the wearing of masks as per current Government guidelines.

I thought all pupils were taking tests at least several times a week to ensure safety?

Either many never bothered or something is wrong here?

Is it SO difficult to wear a mask to protect others, not really. If you don’t wear a mask then you really don’t care much at all.

a lot of people do not care about others and are not remotely interested in the welfare of others – take responsibility for yourself and do not rely on others to do anything that you feel is in your interest.

So by that criteria, people who live alone and can’t have vaccine but still need to go out to do things like buy themselves food to live, should just stay in forever moldering away until they die then? Because, heaven forbid that selfish arrogant entitled people should have anything happen to prevent them from just going on being as ignorant and uncaring and selfish as they are.

We are lucky that as yet this virus has not mutated to take the young. We should be grateful for that. Masks are a small price to pay to save just one life.

Imagine the hysteria if the virus was taking mainly the young, the whole of society would be shut down immediately and then EVERYONE would be ordered to wear masks, no exceptions. Even when it was mandatory there were SO MANY who didn’t wear one and would scream “exempt” at anyone who dared question them, when we all know that no way would they have been *genuinely* exempt! There would only be a tiny handful of people who would be genuinely exempt, most of whom you probably wouldn’t encounter much anyway, so all the smokers, shrill shriekers, and loud obnoxious, arrogant types can’t possibly be all exempt.

Confused, or if it were to only take specific races, the BBC would never drop the appeals, and the entire pop, sporting and entertainment world would be endlessly involved in Geldof type events to fund the tradegy.

All lives matter to the holder of that life, be it old, young, or whatever your nationality or gender, but to hear the biased news nowadays, you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise.
