Caffe Isola’s Larry Burgess and his 2 little helpers have been raising smiles in Freshwater this morning (Tuesday) by donating 12 bottles of Isle of Wight milk to a local care home.
With no option but to close their doors in response to the Government’s orders, Caffe Isola found themselves with left over Briddlesford Farm milk that would expire long before the popular Newport establishment can reopen in – hopefully – 3 weeks’ time.
Instead of letting it go to waste, the team have donated the milk to Ancona Residential Care Home in Freshwater Bay.
The donation was greatly received by the residents and staff – albeit from a distance whilst observing the 2 metre social distancing rules.
Larry was joined by sons Dylan and Harrison.
