It’s over a bloke or drugs most likely. This beautiful island is getting increasingly lawless as each week passes. Too many scum bags here now.
And it will get a lot worse to once all the massive new developments are completed and get filled with the scum that the mainland don’t want.
Same answer for you too..
Me and my family left the island in June 2021 and IT WAS THE BEST THING WE DID…. We loved the island at first but soon saw the REAL island after living there a few years; drugs, drug related crime, high unemployment , a lot of nepotism, a lot of car accidents / deaths and sadly ALOT of two faced sly people.
Add to that the ferry costs of getting on and off the island, the high council tax, uselessness of the council, lack of basic services, poor hospital services, and it’s no wonder people leave.
Lived here for decades and I don’t recognise what you’re talking about. This morning I drove through vast countryside with the English Channel twinkling in the sun, took my dog for a walk on a deserted beach and had breakfast in the sunshine. That’s the Isle of Wight I know. Just how you look at things my friend.
I have lived on the Island all my life .Things have changed but so has the world . I have no problem at all, drugs are all over the place you just keep away from them .Stupid drivers are everywhere you just stick with the limits
We need that fixed link to be able to escape! Its not much different over here now to the mainland, we are all cooped up with no affordable escape route. Guess we have the council to thank for all the no good imports coupled with our own home grown numptys making this once nice place a nightmare!
another entitled loser that does not have the capacity or the emotional discipline to deal with situations, so resorts to violence, like \a petulant child.
I’ve never understud why anyone that sticks a knife into another person is allowed to go home on bail, what the hell is going on with our legal system…
Easiest thing in the world is to judge without knowing the facts. It was self defence.
