ANOTHER GRAMMY AWARD FOR WET LEG THANKS TO DEPECHE MODE REMIX

Isle of Wight band Wet Leg have picked up another Grammy Award in Los Angeles – this time for ‘Best Remixed Recording’. Wet Leg won the award for their track Wagging Tongue (Wet Leg Remix) – originally recorded by Depeche Mode – on Sunday evening. The whole band  – Joshua Omead Mobaraki, Hester Chambers, Rhian Teasdale, Henry Holmes and Ellis Durand – were present at the awards to accept the honour. On stage, the indie band were accompanied by a female maverick Morris dancing act. Last year, the Isle of Wight indie group won Grammys for Best Alternative Album and Best Alternative Music Performance. They also won the Best New Artist and Group of the Year at the 2023 BRIT awards as the only females in male-dominated categories. Listen to Wagging Tongue (Wet Leg remix) here.
