UPDATE: Following this appeal a woman has now been identified and will be attending a voluntary interview. Police on the Isle of Wight are looking to identify this woman, who is wanted in connection with the theft of a purse from Aldi in Lake. Between 11:30 and 12:30 on 10th April – over 2 months ago – a woman accidentally left her purse at a self service check out in Aldi. Another female shopper then took this purse and unsuccessfully tried to use one of the cards within to make a payment with it in Matalan in Newport. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has released this CCTV image of a woman officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident. If anyone recognises this person, call 101 quoting reference 44240150108.
