UPDATED: Islanders are facing a day of disruption due to strong winds along the South Coast, which have already resulted in the suspension of Hovertravel’s cross-Solent services.
The Met Office are warning of gusts of up to 65mph today (Saturday) with a weather warning in place until 23:45 tonight.
Red Funnel say they anticipate disruption to their hi-speed Red Jet service later on.
