Strings Bar & Venue on the Isle of Wight has launched a new Club Membership scheme, with the first event set to feature a live performance and Q&A with renowned drummer Ralph Rolle on Monday 16th March.
The monthly subscription service will provide members with a range of benefits including access to free events, exclusive pre-sale ticket opportunities and priority entry to selected shows.
The launch coincides with a special appearance by Rolle, best known as the drummer for Nile Rodgers and Chic. Across his career he has also performed and recorded with a wide range of major artists including Sting, Bono, Bette Midler, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, Eric Benet, Erykah Badu, Dua Lipa, Dolly Parton, Roger Daltrey, D’Angelo, John Legend, India Arie, Elvis Costello, Smokey Robinson, NAS, Biggie Smalls, Slash and Mickey Dolenz.
Rolle also appeared in the Lady Gaga and David Bowie tribute performance at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
Andy, co-owner of Strings Bar & Venue, has said:
“We are so excited to welcome such a legendary musician to Strings, he is only in the country for a short time so it will be a pleasure to have him feature as the first of many Club Member nights.”
The venue says the membership scheme represents the next stage in its business growth and a new way to connect with regular visitors.
Andy has also said:
“We are always looking for ways to engage with our audience and launching the membership will give us an opportunity to get to know many of our regulars.”
Membership benefits are expected to include monthly members’ nights, an annual members’ party, exclusive pre-sale access, behind-the-scenes footage and priority entry to events. Further perks are expected to be announced.
Those wishing to join can sign up via the venue’s mobile app, with subscriptions processed through the relevant app store provider.
Non-members will also be able to attend the event with Ralph Rolle, with a limited number of tickets currently available via www.stringsbarandvenue.com or through the venue’s app.
