Solent Cruises is now operating its day trip to Portsmouth service 7 days a week, giving Isle of Wight residents and visitors more opportunities to enjoy a day across the Solent.
Departing from Thetis Wharf in Cowes at 09:30 each day until 6t September the service offers a relaxing and scenic journey to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, providing a hassle-free alternative to taking the car over or using other cross-Solent travel providers.
With free parking available in Cowes, passengers can leave their cars behind and spend the day shopping, exploring Portsmouth’s attractions or enjoying a leisurely meal at one of the many restaurants overlooking the harbour.
The crossing allows up to 6 hours ashore before the return sailing departs Gunwharf Quays at 17:00, bringing passengers back to Cowes in the early evening.
Return fares are priced at a competitve £11 for adults, £10 for seniors and £9 for children, with Solent Cruises offering an affordable way to enjoy a summer day out.
