A range of discounted boat trips and themed cruises departing from Cowes are currently available through The Price Is Wight, with Solent Cruises offering everything from daytime crossings to evening party cruises across the Solent.
Solent Cruises Ltd, the long-established operator based here on the Isle of Wight, has launched several offers for 2026, including special event sailings, weekend return trips and sightseeing cruises between Cowes and Portsmouth.
Among the highlights are several themed evening cruises taking place during the Summer months.
The Silent Disco Boat Party is scheduled for Friday 15th May and will see Solent Cruises partner with Hush Silent Disco Co for a 3-hour cruise across the Solent. Tickets are available from £21.00 per person. Boarding begins at 19:30, with the vessel returning to Cowes at around 22:30.
Sounds of the Summer will bring a party atmosphere to the Solent on Saturday 30th May and Saturday 1st August. Hosted by DJ Jakey Chan, the 3-hour cruise will feature music from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Earlybird tickets are available from £21.00, with boarding starting at 19:00 and departure at 19:30. The cruise returns to Cowes at approximately 22:30.
During Cowes Week, Solent Cruises will also operate a Firework Cruise with DJ Crabbie on Friday 7th August. The 3-hour sailing will offer views of the Cowes Week fireworks display from the water. Adult tickets are available from £21.00, while child tickets for those aged 5-15 start from £15.00. Boarding takes place from 19:00, with departure at 19:30 and return at around 22:30.
Later in the summer, the Ibiza Anthems Boat Party will take place on Saturday 22nd August. The sunset cruise will feature DJ Omar and is open to those aged 18 and over. Earlybird tickets are priced from £21.00, with boarding from 19:00 and sailing at 19:30 before returning to Cowes at approximately 22:30.
For those looking for a daytime outing, Solent Cruises is also offering discounted weekend return trips between Cowes and Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. The offer is available every Saturday and Sunday until Sunday 29th March.
Adult return tickets are priced from £7.00, with senior tickets for those aged over 65 from £6.00 and child tickets for ages 5-15 from £5.00. Departures leave Cowes at 09:30, arriving at Gunwharf Quays around 10:30. The return sailing departs Portsmouth at 17:00, reducing to 16:00 after the clocks change. Free parking is available at Thetis Wharf on a first-come, first-served basis.
Another option available this year is the Two Ports Round Trip Cruise, which explores both Cowes Harbour and Portsmouth before returning to Cowes. The cruise operates on Wednesdays and Thursdays from March through to September and lasts around 2-and-a-half hours.
Tickets for the sightseeing cruise are available from £22.00 for adults and seniors, while child tickets for those aged 11-16 start from £10.00. Children aged under 10 travel free.
