A teenager has been stabbed in the leg at a property in Oakfield, Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday).
A cordon has been established around a terraced house at Blackthorn Close, off Slade Road.
Police rushed to the scene at just before 13:38 following reports that an individual had been assaulted.
A search of the local area involving a large number of officers, including a dog unit, has not yet led to any arrests.
The 19-year-old victim has been treated by paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and is understood to have been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We were called at 1.35pm this afternoon (2nd February) with reports of an incident in Blackthorn Close, Ryde, during which a man suffered a stab wound to his leg.

“Officers are currently in the area making enquiries”.

Very sad news, but, awful to say, Sir Captain Tom’s kind shouldn’t have to live in a country he loved and fought for now surrounded by the home grown and imported rubbish the UK is now breeding or adding ever more of.
Britain is now ruined, not for a while, but forever by soft, liberal and lefty policies.
Mostly be those who live miles away, in safe leafy lanes, where their children have a pony paddock not a playground filled with drugged low life. They have a far different life to what the masses now have to endure, and they don’t ever see the real problems, only data collected to come up with more useless policies to be ever nicer to low life.
Then thinking they will respond to kindness, or by being given more cash they will improve, but the low life instead see it as weakness to be even more exploited and used and feel they are entitled to do as they please, as they are often living then better than many of those working, so WHY would they think there is a problem if not working, having scattered children and living an anti social life STILL gives them a good life, then, to them, keep it coming.
Hopefully with the spread of the underclasses, even those now in safe lifestyle will one day be affected by the growing spread of such beings. For UNTIL they are, then nothing needed will be done.
That is the ONLY reason CV is being tackled as it is, for, for once, the rich are at risk and money can’t buy them out of the danger as it now can social low life issues.
Governments, Police, councils all to weak to do anything so the rot continues until society is at breaking point for all.

I agree with what you have said, however, Big Busines control Government’s around the world, and if Government’s don’t play too there tune thay invest elsewhere.
Big business don’t give two figs about broken down nation’s, but the Chinese are different because they control anything that threatens how they live.
Big business are almost begin to do business with China because they know China are rapidly becoming the world’s biggest economy..

Using a knife is a cowards way of fighting but if it involves drugs they don’t give a hoot as long as they get their fix or get paid for what they supply.
