The crew of Ryde Rescue 1 are working to safely transfer the occupants of the yacht onto the lifeboat. Meanwhile Ryde Rescue’s launch vehicle is close by having used a sandbank to reach the scene.

No one is thought to have been injured.

UPDATE –  With all crew safe and the boat stuck fast, the decision has been taken to leave the 2 occupants on board the boat. Ryde Rescue’s crew have laid out the yacht’s anchor and are expected to return later on tonight to check up on the duo.
