Ryde Swimming Club attended an Autumn Novice invitational swimming competition at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth on Sunday, coming home with a race win.
The club was competing against 6 other clubs from the South including Fareham Nomads, Gosport Dolphins, Littlehampton SC, Portsmouth Northsea SC, Seaclose SC and the Winchester City Penguins. Nearly 140 swimmers took part in the competition in total.
The swimmers from Ryde Swimming Club performed really well, with personal best times all around and some great overall positions.
The Island club achieved 1st place in the 50m Freestyle Relay, which is a huge achievement for Ethan Soar, Ethan Tanner-Rolf, Sophie Groves and Stella Coughlin.
