REHABILITATION ASSISTANT/SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED
Rehabilitation assistant/support worker for 4 yr old girl with multiple physical/cognitive disabilities based near Wooton on the Isle of Wight.
You will be implementing daily exercise/rehabilitation program to encourage physical, sensory and cognitive development through play under the lead of a qualified therapist. You will also support the client with personal care activities such as feeding and bathing.
Working hours during school term will be 24 hours:
Monday to Friday – 15:30 until 19:30
Saturday – 8:00 until 12:00
Working hours during school holidays will be 24 hours:
Monday to Saturday – 08.00 until 12.00
Rates of pay £13.00 p/h on weekdays and £14.00 p/h on weekends.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with motivational skills who likes working with children.
Previous experience/qualifications are welcome but not essential as training will be provided. An enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required.
