Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating missing 77-year-old Bernard Tucker, who hasn’t been seen since this morning (Tuesday).
Bernard was last known to be in the Station Road area of Yarmouth at around 10:30 this morning.
He failed to return home after lunch, which is said to be very out of character. He is described as vulnerable and could be confused.
He is described as:
- White
- 5ft tall
- Slim build
- Greying hair
The 77-year-old was last seen wearing blue clogg style shoes, a grey top, a black jumper and dark grey trousers.

Coastguard Rescue 175 helicopter is currently deployed on a mission along the north coast of the Isle of Wight towards Yarmouth, but it is unclear at this time if this is in connection with the efforts to locate Bernard.
WightSAR – the Island’s voluntary search and rescue team – have been deployed to assist in the search efforts.
