RED Funnel’s car ferry service was effected last night after a power cut in the City of Southampton.
The loss in power left the company’s crew unable to load or unload any cars from the ferries, leaving no choice but to suspend all crossings.
Thankfully, power was restored shortly before 22:00 allowing services to resume to a normal timetable.
