Police are searching for a suspect in the West Wight on land and in the air following a sexual assault in the area, Island Echo understands.
Multiple Police units have been searching the area throughout the day including at Fort Victoria with the National Police Air Support helicopter conducting an aerial search.
The assailant, believed to be male and wearing a blue polo shirt, remains wanted this afternoon.
UPDATE @ 15:05 – One male has been arrested by Police this afternoon and will be questioned later today, according to Hampshire Constabulary.
