Police are preparing a file for the coroner following the sudden death of a man in Ryde this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to a property in Brook Close, Oakfield at 09:38.
2 paramedic crews from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were mobilised to the scene and it’s thought that the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was scrambled, but was stood down en-route.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that a 43-year-old man has died.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
