FOUND: A 40-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of theft and burglary offences. He remains in police custody at this time.
Police are appealing for help in locating a Newport man who they wish to speak to in connection with a host of theft and burglary offences.
The offences in question, 22 overall, took place throughout this month.
Officers are following up all lines of enquiry to locate 40-year-old Nicky Dickinson, with it believed he may still be in the Newport area.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are reminding people that anyone found to be harbouring Nicky to deliberately obstruct attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.
Nicky is described as:
- White
- 5ft 10ins tall
- Slim build
- He has shaved hair
A Police spokesperson has said:
