A motorcyclist has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital following a collision with a car on Brading Downs this afternoon (Sunday) – the second motorcycle collision of the day.
Police were called to reports of a 2-vehicle smash on Brading Down Road sometime before 15:51. Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also mobilised to the scene.
A litter bin container has been knocked over as a result of the crash between a Toyota estate and a yellow motorcycle.
The road remains open as normal.
UPDATE @ 16:50 – The vehicles have been recovered from the scene by Stag Lane Motors.
The motorcyclist has been taken to St Mary’s with a leg injury.
