A motorcycle and a car have been involved in a road traffic collision on Briddlesford Road near Havenstreet this evening (Thursday).
Police are currently in attendance at the scene where the Wootton to Downend road meets Combley Road, close to Knight’s Cross.
Briddlesford Road was closed in both directions for a time but has since re-opened whilst Police await recovery of the vehicles involved.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the smash, which occurred shortly before 19:00.
The motorcyclist has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital with what are thought to be injuries to his shoulder.
