Islanders are being asked to keep a sharp eye out for missing 30-year-old Edward Johnson from Dorset, who is thought to possibly be on the Isle of Wight.
Edward disappeared from an address on Ringwood Road in Three Legged Cross at 17:35 on Thursday (18th March). Despite ongoing searches and investigations by Dorset Police, he has not been found.
Hampshire Constabulary tonight say they believe Edward may currently be on the Isle of Wight.
Although Dorset Police say Edward is driving a Citroen C3 Picasso (WJ14 AMO), local Police believe this is no longer the case.
The family of Mr Johnson have issued a personal appeal to him to get in contact. Edward’s parents Linda and Terry and brother Will have said:
“Ed we know you have been upset recently and we want you to know that we are all here for you, we miss you and we love you. The dog Rupert really misses you too.
“We are worried sick about you and all we want to know is that you are safe. Please call us and tell us where you are so we can come and find you.”
Anyone from the Island who sees Edward, or has any other information, should contact Police on 101 quoting 18-2576. Outside of Hampshire, contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or call 101, quoting 55210043530.
