Police are appealing for the public’s help in finding missing 81-year-old Julia Thomasson, who was last seen in St Helens this afternoon (Wednesday).
Julia is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall with dark, moderate-length hair. wearing dark trousers with what could be a blue top.
The Bembridge woman was reported missing at 12:55, having last been seen in St Helens at the junction of Daish’s Lane and Lower Green Road wearing dark trousers with possibly a blue top.
At the time she was last sighted, she was wearing glasses and a cap.
Police have said they are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who sees her to call police immediately, quoting incident 1120 of 29th July.
UPDATE @ 15:20 – Julia has been located, safe and well, on Lower Green Road.
Some 7 Police cars descended on the area earlier this afternoon, resulting in a positive outcome.
