A minor road traffic collision on a busy road in Ryde is causing traffic delays in the area this lunchtime (Monday).
A silver Nissan Micra has sustained front end damage in the collision on Victoria Road, which has also involved a blue Skoda Fabia.
Insurance details have been exchanged with no injuries reported.
A coach – unable to make the turn around the damaged Micra on a the sharp left hand bend – is currently completely blocking Garfield Road at the junction of Victoria Street.
Light traffic is still able to proceed through town and out towards Queens Road but there are delays, including along Lind Street and up West Street.
Police are in attendance to assist with traffic flow.
Such a smart driver… must have passed the test first time… Oh! wait.. I see they still have Driver Licences to cut out on back of cereal boxes… ( probably)
Why has this policeman not got a hi-viz jacket on if stood in the middle of the road dressed all in black no matter what the time of day the policy for them is high viability on a highway should be worn.
