A new doctor-led aesthetic clinic in Newport is offering medically supervised weight loss services to residents across the Isle of Wight, providing a safe, personalised and professional alternative to one-size-fits-all online programmes.
Wight Aesthetic Clinic, located on Pyle Street, is focused on delivering sustainable weight management through in-person consultations, tailored treatment plans and continuous support from qualified medical professionals.
At the centre of the clinic’s approach is the belief that effective weight loss should be treated as a medical matter. Each patient begins their journey with a full face-to-face consultation, including a detailed medical history review and physical examination. This ensures treatments are safe, appropriate, and designed to suit individual health needs – something that online questionnaires often miss.
The team emphasises that while some online options may appear cheaper, they lack the level of supervision and care offered at Wight Aesthetic Clinic. Patients benefit from direct, ongoing contact with their medical team through WhatsApp, email, phone, or walk-in appointments, allowing doctors to adjust treatment in real-time and manage any side effects safely.
All prescribed medications are sourced from trusted UK wholesale pharmacies, ensuring they are genuine, properly stored, and fully regulated. The clinic says this eliminates the risks associated with unverified online suppliers.
Wight Aesthetic Clinic is also Save Face approved, giving patients additional assurance of professional standards and care.
In addition to weight management, the clinic provides a full range of aesthetic services, including wrinkle-relaxing injections, dermal fillers, CO₂ laser resurfacing, and Hydrafacial treatments aimed at rejuvenating the skin. By combining medical weight loss with cosmetic skincare, the clinic offers a complete, holistic approach to wellness.

Non story.
Sorry but this is not NHS funded (i hope not, anyway) which it shouldn’t be, considering the Island’s NHS is already on it’s knees.
Food for thought… if you have enough money for this private treatment to lose weight, maybe you have enough money for a personal trainer??
It will do you a lot better to do the basics of burning more calories than consumed.
Or are people to lazy to acknowledge that simple concept?
Made me laugh “food for thought”. Was that a genuine ‘no pun intended’ ha ha. Aside from that, I also quite agree with your comment.
Eat less and exercise is the safest and healthier option.
Nope not NHS funded
hard working people getting what they want when they want
Personally I think this is amazing, there are people out there that don’t get time off their busy schedule at work to go to the gym.
Some people need a bit of help to get slimmer before they can start with the exercises.
If you work hard and you can afford it treat yourself make yourself feel better
I no im going to look into it.
