Rosie was last seen at PGL Little Canada Activity Centre in Wootton on Sunday evening (23rd June). It’s here where a major search is now underway involving dozens of Police, volunteers from WightSAR and HM Coastguard teams from both Bembridge and Ventnor.
Earlier on today, the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter from Bournemouth circled in the skies above Wootton and now Ryde Rescue are involved in conducting a search on the water.
It’s said that Rosie has mousey brown hair and is of slim build. She was last seen wearing a dark blue puffa jacket and trousers, which you can see in the photo above.
The search is currently focusing on the New Road area of Wootton and surrounding lanes. Coastguard Officers are also conducting a shoreline search on the banks of the River Medina.
Members of the Wootton community are asked to help by checking sheds, boats and outbuildings. Check thoroughly and call Police on 101 with any information.
If you think you might have seen Rosie since she went missing, or have any information about where she might be, call Police as a matter of urgency on 101 quoting 44190217273.
