UPDATED: Rowborough Lane in Brading – the main road between Ryde and Sandown – will be closed tonight (Saturday) and into tomorrow morning for roadworks.
The road will be closed from the junction with Carpenters Road to Coach Lane (Brading Roundabout) from 19:30 this evening until 06:30 tomorrow morning for high friction surfacing – also known as anti-skid.
Motorists are to be diverted via Bembridge and Yarbridge, however Ashey Road and The Downs will remain open.
UPDATE SUNDAY: Rowborough Lane will be closed again tonight between 19:30 – 06:30.
Motorists are once again being diverted via Bembridge.
